Challenger Sky Sign Removals

Beacon Installation Services was engaged to deliver the safe removal of three rooftop Challenger sky signs and their associated structural steel support frames from multiple elevations at 31 Queen Street, Melbourne. The project was completed using the building’s BMU (Building Maintenance Unit) to access each elevation and lower the signage components safely to street level. A full overhead pedestrian gantry was installed along Queen Street to provide public protection throughout the works. Our scope included project management, engineering coordination, permits, traffic management, public protection and the removal and disposal of all signage and structural steel components in the live CBD environment.
